Was Surviving Stage3C Breast Cancer and raising two wonderful sons with the most wonderful husband in the world. Now it would be battling Stage 4 Terminal cancer.
My mom and grandma have influenced me the most in my life. A lot of my strength comes from them. They stood by Leroy and I, along with friends, and provided the most awesome support group we could ask for. I cant thank them enough.
I have had a bit of a battle the last couple of years. In July2006 I was diagnosed with Stage3C cancer, which is pretty big on the rictor scale. :o) I went through a masectomy, 2 reconstruction surgeries, and one huge sepsis infection that put me in ICU for a week. Whew! That was a close one! But...I found out I am pretty tough and...I have a nicely shaped bald head. :o) I am still very happily married to Leroy. He is and has been a wonderful, strong husband through all of this. He just picked up and took over everything so I did not have to worry about a thing but getting better. We have two sons, Dakota is 13 and goes to Raymond Park Middle School. Jake is 8 and goes to Lowell. They are such good boys and handle everything so well. I am blessed to feel good, but have recently been rediagnosed with Stage 4Terminal Cancer. I am continuing the battle everyday. But....I dont look sick, dont feel sick, so...just going to pretend Im not sick!!!
